In case the story becomes unclear to the interviewer, you should be ready for follow up questions; thus, in this interview, there is no room for fabricated stories because this will not help you in acing the interview and getting accepted in the MBA program.
One way of impressing the interviewer is speaking straight to the point and confidently. Do not speak too little nor too lengthy. Speak just directly to the questions asked and in moderate speed. Talking in a fast manner is indicative of nervousness while talking a little might give a negative impression about you. So, if you do not want any of these things to happen, then you need to practice prior to interview.
